Online application : Procedure
Master of Engineering

You must read what follows before proceeding to the online application.

Requirements for application

Education

  • Foreign students: Hold a Bachelor's degree from a 4 years' higher education programme or equivalent in related fields of study
  • French students: a Maîtrise/Master 1 or equivalent.

English (For no native English speakers)

  • TOEFL: 550 (paper-based) 213 (Computer-based) 79 (Internet-based), or
  • IELTS: 5,5 or
  • TOEIC: 750 or
  • Cambridge CAE

1st step: Online Application

Please DO NOT create several accounts as the processing of your application will be delayed.

All fields must be completed.

1) Create a personnal account

To apply to the Master of Engineering, you must own a secure and individual e-mail address. This address must be valid during the entire application process so we can easily contact you or send you any useful documents for your application.

When you first sign in, you will be asked to choose a login, a password and an e-mail address.
You will then be automatically sent an e-mail containing your personal application number, which you will need every time you sign in.

2) Fill the application forms

Once you have created your application account, you will be asked to fill out the different fields. This can be done during one or more sessions on our website.

The application form includes 4 main parts:

  • Personal details (typical details such as name, date of birth)
  • General information about your education
  • Relevant work experience
  • Detailed information about your education (academic information about your 4 last years of studies: bachelor, master)

3) Send reference letters

No application will be considered until the following documents have been received:

Send by email a copy of the letters of references. If they are confidential, please use postal mail (see address below).

before the application deadline!!

2nd step: Application Results and Documents Validation

An email will be sent to you about the decision by the academic board one month maximum after we received all the documents.

If your admission is successful, following official documents must be sent by post for validation to ESIEE Paris:

  1. Printed copy of your online application form with your signature on each page
  2. 2 recent photographs
  3. Copy of passport
  4. 2 letters of reference (if sent previously by email)
  5. Certified transcripts of records in French or in English
  6. Detailed syllabus of your Bachelor/Master courses
  7. Master’s or Bachelor's level degree certificate (if available at the time of application)
  8. English language proficiency

If the Bachelor's Certificate and the corresponding Certificate of Examination are not yet available to a candidate prior to the deadline, these documents may be sent in after the deadline. In this case a provisional decision on admission, based on the remaining documents, will be made by the Examinations Board. The decision will be confirmed upon receipt of the Bachelor's Certificate and Certificate of Examination.

3rd Step: Admission

After validation of your application documents you will be requested to confirm acceptance of admission by the payment of a no-refundable deposit (490€).

You can either pay:

  • Online by credit card, or
  • By check or
  • By banking transfer

You will be sent more specific information via e-mail about the following steps.

ADMISSION CALENDAR 2010
Application deadline 25 June 2010
Admission committee Several selection sessions are scheduled between February and the final deadline on June. Applications received after June 25 will NOT be considered.
Deadline for deposit payment 2 months after admission committee notification and at the later 10 July 2010
Start of academic year 13 September 2010
