The course (2,000 hours) is closely linked to various technical and managerial disciplines: technology, innovation, finance, marketing and foreign languages. It is based on the acquisition of knowledge and expertise from simulated (tutorials and practicum) or real (internships and company placements) situations.

This course is aimed at students who have completed two years of higher education in science, applied science, economics or management.


Aims:

  • To train business engineers who are able to address the new energy- and environment-related issues facing companies and local authorities
  • To incorporate sustainable development criteria into our method of teaching innovation management
  • To give our students solid scientific knowledge to understand renewable energy in all its facets (wind, biomass, solar thermal, photovoltaic, geothermic and hydraulic)
  • To view the strengths and weaknesses of the main forms of new energy alongside the economic, industrial, commercial, legal and environmental issues facing the energy market

 

Syllabus:

  • Mastering the scientific, industrial and commercial aspects of the main forms of renewable energy
  • Understanding and analysing the concepts of sustainable development and eco-innovation
  • Applying company management tools and techniques
  • Acquiring the managerial skills and expertise that is required for corporate strategic thinking

In addition to the primary scientific courses on offer, ESIEE Management gives you the necessary attributes to fill the managerial positions that companies need. Enhanced management skills will help you to lead projects and teams for successful completion of your assignments (project management, marketing, finance, corporate taxation, communication, labour law, production management, quality, etc.)
